SYNCHRONISED SWIMMING - Performance Documentation

DESCRIPTION

SYNCHRONISED SWIMMING was Agnes Little and Tom Gibson’s most extreme endurance performance work during their extensive collaboration - a live performance lasting 72 hours. This work took place in the midst of a group show at New Glasgow Society in May 2024, where the two artists lived in the Gallery space for 72 hours, hosting a series of movement practicioners - from dance, to yoga, to sign language.

This work extends the pair’s previous explorations of teaching and learning, wherein the aim of the performance was to learn perfect synchronisation as a duo.
